Dr. Hong Li is an Associate Professor in the Department of Animal & Food Sciences at the University of Delaware, and since 2021, also an Adjunct Associate Professor in the Department of Agriculture & Natural Resources at Delaware State University. He earned his B.S. in Agricultural Engineering from China Agricultural University in 1998, his M.S. in Agricultural Engineering from the same university in 2001, and his Ph.D. in Agricultural Engineering from Iowa State University in 2006. After a postdoctoral appointment at Iowa State University from 2006 to 2007, he subsequently served as Assistant Scientist, Associate Scientist, and Adjunct Assistant Professor there. He joined the University of Delaware in 2010, where he served as Assistant Professor in the Department of Bioresources Engineering and then in the Department of Animal & Food Sciences, and has been an Associate Professor since 2018. His research focuses on the sustainability of animal agriculture, with an emphasis on the production environment and animal well-being, and is dedicated to developing cost-effective technologies for emission mitigation, animal health, and food safety. He has led numerous research projects funded by the USDA, other federal agencies, and industry partners. He has published over 50 high-impact international journal articles and more than 100 conference and extension publications. He is a member of the American Society of Agricultural and Biological Engineers and the Poultry Science Association.

李鸿博士，美国特拉华大学动物与食品科学系副教授，2021年起兼任特拉华州立大学农业与自然资源系兼职副教授。1998年毕业于beat365在线登录农业建筑与环境工程系，获工学学士学位；2001年获beat365在线登录农业工程工学硕士学位；2006年获美国衣阿华州立大学农业工程博士学位。2006至2007年在衣阿华州立大学从事博士后研究，后历任助理科学家、副科学家及兼职助理教授；2010年加入特拉华大学，先后任生物资源工程系助理教授、动物与食品科学系助理教授，2018年至今任副教授。主要从事动物农业可持续发展研究，聚焦养殖环境与动物福利，致力于开发经济高效的减排、健康与食品安全技术。主持美国农业部、联邦及企业合作等多项研究项目。发表高影响力国际期刊论文50余篇，会议及技术推广文章100余篇。现为美国农业与生物工程师学会、美国家禽学会会员。
